I found out about salvestrols while chatting with my friend Ron who facilitates a meditation center in upstate Washington. I became especially curious when Ron told me that organic fruits and vegetables have a higher rate of cancer curing salvestrols in their make-up. Why? I was wondering, and what the heck are salvestrols? Well, Ron went on to tell me that because the vegetable and fruits that are grown organically have to fend for themSelves when it comes to ‘surviving’ so-to-speak the elements and growing conditions. In other words, they are not fed pesticides and fungicides. Because of this, the organically raised fruits and veggies are stronger and have more salvestrols. Which means more salvelstrols, means more cancer conquering something or others.

Now I am not really sure what salvestrols are, but I do like the idea that the fruits and veggies grown organically are generally strong foods. Which to me means that they are healthier foods. Needless to say, I have become even more conscientous about buying organic produce. Of course, I also enjoy growing my own vegetables too. This info makes gardening even a more inspiring action.

Some of the articles (actually most of them) that I found on salvestrols where selling salvestrols in a bottle. Now that appears to me to a bit stupid. I may be wrong, but how can the strong healthy vibrancy of organic fruits and vegetables be maintained while in a bottle? Oh well. . .
I found the following information while reading about deceased Yugoslavian molecular biologist, Mirko Beljanski PhD. He and his wife spent a great deal of time studying cancer and salvestrols. Here is and excerpt from a website about their salvestrol work:

Salvestrols are natural compounds, found in a number of fruits and vegetables
(e.g. tangerines, cranberries, blueberries, strawberries, red grapes), which are
specifically activated by a family of enzymes found only in cancer cells. When
so activated, the salvestrols cause the cancer cells to self-destruct
(apoptosis). Prof. Gerry Potter (University of Leicester, UK) suggests that the
enzymes have evolved as a physiological rescue mechanism. The process has been
demonstrated in vitro, in cell lines taken from many different types of human
cancerous tissue. Salvestrols may therefore possess anti-cancer properties when
ingested. The first salvestrol to be discovered was resveratrol, found in red
grapes.
Salvestrols are produced by plants in response to fungal attack and other
infections. When plants are sprayed with fungicides and pesticides, their
production of salvestrols is impaired, since they are no longer challenged by
these diseases. Properly grown organic fruits and vegetables therefore contain
disease-fighting substances such as salvestrols, which are absent from or
present in far smaller quantities in non-organically grown produce.

Considerable publicity has been given to resveratrol as the substances found in
red grapes, red grape juice and red wine. Resveratrol, however, is unstable,
disappearing from red wine within an hour of opening the bottle. Taking
advantage of the publicity, a number of companies now offer red grape extract.
But before purchasing any such product, it is worth quizzing the company on
their extraction methods, as well as the concentration and stability of active
resveratrol in their product.

I hope to hear more about salvestrols. Stage 4 agressive prostate cancer that metastacised to the bones was not a fun diagnosis to get – not for me, nor anyone else. If fact, no cancer diagnosis is any fun. So any information I get that provides me with new insights to health is a good thing. Buying, growing, and eating strong healthy alkaline foods seems to be a path that many of the alternative methods for reclaiming health have in common.  Good night! Hi Vernon, it is great that the recent phenomenon of organic eating and living has grown organically. I’m researching sodium bicarbonate and salvestrols not because I’ve been diagnosed with cancer, but because I hope to avoid it, “it” being “present” in my family’s history. The notion that this knowledge has been around in North America since the 1950’s and other parts of the world for centuries in some form or another is almost as fascinating as the knowledge itself. One doctor worth researching is the Italian Tullio Simoncini, who has used the discovery he made in the early ’80s to treat cancer patients.

my dad has lung and brain cancer stage 4 and has started taking tablet form salvastrols, I was just wondering has anyone had an experience and can the reduce cancer swell as prevent it ?

    • Helen Wenley says:

      Hi Elissa,
I attend a lecture on Salvestrols last night in Auckland (New Zealand). Apparently salvestrol does not kill all cancers cells (96% success rate). To kill cancer cells salvestrol needs to be taken in high doses of 6000 points per day. For prevention purposes, 350 points per day is sufficient. This is a helpful website http://www.salvestrol.ca/index.asp

      Hi Vito,
Until this morning I was dreading the email I was thinking you were going to get from me. L has had a PET scan of his abdomen and pelvis a few weeks ago. Negative.
The reason for the test was pain in his lower back area. Yesterday he had a very sensitive bone scan. This one is sodium fluoride and based on what I read picks up cancer spreading to the bones better than the standard scans. I just got the report back. Negative!
He still has pain in that area, but it isn’t from cancer!
The stress of this disease is incredible. But, we are baking soda believers! I will always hold a special place in my heart for you for posting your experience with baking soda a few years ago.
I hope you are still in good health.
      Warmest regards,

Hi Vernon, I love the info on your site. I have been doing the baking
soda for quite sometime and it has really helped me. I like the way
your are doing it, so much better than trying to heat the baking soda
with the honey or molasses as a think paste. It doesn’t stay together
and is a real pain in the ass to work with.

Your story is fantastic on how you did it from the hip and you are
      still alive, proof it works!

It’s been helping me too! I have skin cancer and it was spreading
throughout my body. I am doing a lot better but still have a ways to
      go.

Thank God for people like you who put it out there so other people can
      find out too!

I really appreciate what you are doing here!

I looked into that cesium treatment too and I feel this is much
better, safer and way cheaper. . . B

      Howdy

I’m sure you won’t remember me but I am one of your many fans.

I contacted you back in January when I found out my breast cancer went metastatic and found a new home in my bones. This was 8 short months after a bilateral mastectomy, 8 rounds of heavy duty chemo and 32 radiation treatments. Obviously it didn’t work!
I used your baking soda protocol for 3 weeks until I couldn’t stomach it anymore. I held onto hope through the inspiration you shared on your website. Through you I learned the importance of meditation, the joy of Qigong, and to learn to trust God like I never had before to show me paths to deal with my own dance. While referring to you as my “new best friend” I researched and searched and God led me down some pretty amazing paths. I am now enjoying a Vegan diet and am filled with peace and serenity.
In 3 short months, I managed to turn my tumor markers around and I am blessed to be telling you that they are normal!! It of course doesn’t mean the cancer is gone, but it does mean that there isn’t enough there to be considered a problem!
I am sending you this email because I would like to do the same for others as you have done for me. I will be posting on different forums and spreading the word about some of the natural things you can do to combat cancer. I didn’t want to start before thanking you for posting your story and giving people like myself such hope. You have a real gift there best friend, and it is something I will remember for the rest of my life!
      Sincerely, CC______________

Greetings Vernon—I have to thank you for the website and your
protocol. Today I received my results from my biopsy. First a little
background. One year ago I received the dreaded cancer diagnosis. I
was graded as a gleason 6 with less then 5% found out of 18 core
samples. Since then I struggled with diet changes but did manage to
improve in that area. I’ve added many supplements that I felt would
bring about apotosis. Then 15 days before my biopsy I did your
protocol to the letter. Today I was told that there was no cancer
detected in the core samples. I have to believe that the protocol and
the oxygen intake (i’m a long distance cyclist) eliminated the pc.
Doctor states that it’s great news but it only means that he may have
missed the cancerous core. I’m stay7ing on active survelliance. Dr.
never asked if i did anything different ie supplements etc. In my
heart i believe it was the protocol. I too had drenching sweats,
nausious stomach, and diarhea. Oh yah my psa scores during the year
dropped to 1.8, 1.1,to .08 after BSBM from 3.4 originally. Now what do
I do to stay cancer free any thoughts. Big Thanks!

      Message:
      Hi Vernon,

I wanted to thank you for your help a couple of months ago. In early
November I found an alarmingly large and hard lump in my breast.
Within a couple of days I started taking baking soda. A couple of days
later I added maple syrup, after cooking the two together over low
heat for 5 minutes. The ratio was one part baking soda to three parts
      maple syrup.

For two weeks I took this three times a day. Then I skipped a week and
took one teaspoon a day for six days.

During this time I switched to a more alkaline diet, which consisted
of organic fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, brown rice, chicken, turkey
and fish. I also quit drinking milk or eating dairy of any sort,
because of the links between milk and breast cancer. In addition, I
tried to breathe through my nose for a time every day, maybe totally
up to 45 minutes to an hour a day.

The big lump in my breast, which was about the size of a golf ball is
      gone.

But you are very correct when you say baking soda is not the entire
answer. There has to be a whole lifestyle change.

I also used, and am still using, transdermal magnesium and starting to
get more exercise and more exposure to the sun (without glasses). I
did something known as EFT (tapping) to relieve stress. And I greatly
      increased my water intake.

The lump was totally gone in about three to four weeks, but I still
wasn’t feeling totally healthy and I had little energy.

After the baking soda/maple syrup, I also did a week-long protocol
developed by a man named Kelley Eidem that involves taking fresh
ginger, habanero peppers and garlic, as well as monitoring your urine
ph to make sure it is neither too alkaline or too acidic, because,
apparently, either imbalance can result in cancer. Because my ph
showed I had an alkaline imbalance (too high a ph level when I tested
my urine several times a day)I need to bring it back into balance. I’m
taking evening primrose oil and trying to eat more foods to correct
this. Trying to correct this will probably take awhile. My energy is
returning since I started taking the evening primrose oil.

And I prayed a lot, giving thanks to God that He has given us so many
means to heal ourselves, and kind people to help us along the way.

I hope this can help someone. Please feel free to post this on your
website if you leave out my email address.

      God Bless you,

      Patricia

You have a candidate that has survived the impossible. Further more:
it’s me. I have documentation and medical reports to convince the
stupid. As a T4 N1 cancer patient for the past two years I’ve taken
ten rounds of BSMS and my last two TESTS WHICH WERE DONE ON THE VERY
TOP OF THE LINE PET SCAN (whole Body) and Tesla 3 pelvic and prostate
MRI have all my doctors in amazement.

I’ve been thur 2 years of hormone therapy and a very high dosage of
radiation (79.2 RADS) on the best machine made. My initial prognosis
      was death within two years.

A change in diet, exercise, and ten rounds of Sodium bicarbonate over
the last two years each lasting from 8 days to 14 days may have made
the difference. I’m off the hormone therapy as of this week and will
really know the out come within the next two years. A careful watch on
my PSA will tell the tale. Other unrelated medical problems exist but
      are NOT cancer related.

Vern my wife has spent a great deal of time talking to you but now we
have documentation that should make the stupid get the message. At
this time I can’t suggest abandoning traditional medical care but can
tell you we firmly believe without sodium bicarbonate I would be dead.
Anyone in my situation would be foolish NOT TO ADD THIS ALTERNATIVE
      THERAPY TO EVERYTHING ELSE.

Currently a detached retina has me down and since this is the second
time and now has occurred in both eyes I must finish this gruesome
      surgery and recovery.

Once this is done I will be devoting my life to helping others AT NO
CHARGE AND MY EXPENSE TO HELP SPREAD THE WORD. IM GIVING YOU MY EMAIL
RESERVED FOR IMPORTANT MATTER AND I BELIEVE MY WIFE HAS YOUR PHONE
      ETC.

YOU AND ONLY YOU MAY WRITE ME AT

You’ve made a difference but you need more help getting out the word
and I’m going to give you indisputable ammo to get people to
      understand this IS VERY REAL.

In the first link, he used the baking soda protocol after diagnosed with terminal melanoma cancer that spread to a lot of places. He is now gardening happily at his home in Australia. Don Porter used the baking soda and the breathing. BTW, Frank did the breathing too. Ilana (breast cancer) also did breathing and meditating, as QiJong is a meditative activity.

I highly recommend some sort of breathing and or meditating. It is important to touch that part of you that knows you are a vibrant human Being. If you are open for suggestions, let me know.

Here is a note that I recently wrote another when asking for other info besides baking soda:

“Focused or unfocused smooth deep breathing, meditation, a constant reaching for better feeling thoughts and emotions, and a smiling desire for Self-discovery. There are a lot of unconscious unknowns in my life that I am having great fun in making conscious. . . Thanks for the email Ernest, and it sounds like you are doing good, Vernon

PS: If you do the breathing, also keep a notebook – you will be amazed at what you learn and where you go.”

I whould like to know how long you have been taking the salvesterols and, at what strength (in units,) as the latest version is at 2000 units per capsule/tablet.

    What has been your response?

In Jan 21, 2010, I was diagnosed with proatate ca that had spread to the bones. I have tried a variety of alternative approaches, but it appears to only slow down the cancer symptoms but it continues to progress as per MRIs and bone scans.

    • Vernon aka Vito says:

I never took supplemental salvesterols. I have a garden. That is where I get the freshness. Slowing down is good. It gives you a great chance!
