Bobber Biotensors
……I love making the Bobbers aka Biotensors, Bobberwands.
People have asked me about the dowsing bobbers and biotensors that I make. For example:
“Hi there. . . I’ve heard some nice things about you from some of the people on
Lymenet. I’m interested in a tensor. I understand you make them. Could you
please let me know the cost? This technology is new to me, so if you
have any instructions or suggestions as well, it would be very much
appreciated.
I’ve got to poke around your site a little more….. looks very cool. Thanks so much”
“Hi Vernon. . .Can you tell me what I need to do in order to purchase a bobber (dowser) from you? Thanks”
Currently I have three editions going – the ‘Desert Chaparral’ edition, the ‘Anza Manzanita Edition’, and the ‘Drifting Water Edition.’
I put the ‘Desert Chaparral’ edition together while I was staying in Poverty Flats at Slab City, Niland, California; while at Poverty Flats I discovered the wonders of the Chaparral bush which grows naturally in that area. It has been used by some of the SouthWest Indians for curing many ailments for hundreds, if not thousands of years. It is also known as the Creosote bush or Greasewood.
I also have a limited Anza Manzanita Edition. It is made from the Manzanita trees branches and roots that I hunted for while in southern California. Some species of the Manzanita (little apple) are endangered, so I made sure that I used only branches that were pruned naturally. Some of the pieces are very striking.
The Edition I just got underway is the “Drifting Water Edition”. They are made from the unique pieces of wood that have washed ashore after experiencing the power and the beauty of the sea.
Here is a little note I got from someone who received this latest edition Bobber:
”HI VITO!!!!
I received the bobber you made me and I’m in awe! I LOVE IT! It feels wonderful in my hand, and I am very excited about getting to know it and trying to use it…”
My Bobber/Biotensors are handmade. After choosing the proper wood from a tree or bush I cut them to size and strip off the outer and inner bark. I allow the handles to cure for about 10 days, then I then drill a hole to allow the attachment of a very flexible wand (it can comfortably fold to fit into purse, pocket, or fanny pack). After securing the wand, I then attach a hard rubber tip which I have charged with gold flake – inside and out. The wand is flexible. The very tip of the tip is hand painted with real gold leaf paint. When I am done assembling and sanding, I tune the Bobbet’s wand to its handle and to you, the Dowser.
Prices range from $27.00 to $37.00 plus postage, handling, and packaging (add another $5.00). The Drifting Water is $27 plus 5; the Desert Chaparral is $32 plus 5; and the Anza Manzanita is $37 plus 5. (Add $5.00 more for shipping to UK)
After you receive it, if for any reason you feel it is not for you….then simply return it to my address and I will refund the money minus shipping.
Payment can be made via PayPal or send to my address.
If after you have experimented for a few weeks with the BioTensor/Bobber, and feel you may need a little helpful nudge, we can speak with each other via Skype or something similar. Here are some helpful sites:
